A unique cheddar cheese produced by Lively Run Dairy in Interlaken, NY. Rich in flavor, it blends the sharpness of traditional cheddar with a pleasing nuttiness that is "rare in American Cheddars."
Made from extremely fresh milk (typically made the same day as the milking) and aged up to 6 months (minimum 60 days).
Please note: each unit of Lake Effect Cheddar is approximately 6 ounces, but they are packaged at a random weight, so some units may weigh a little more or a little less than this average. By purchasing, you agree that you are paying for a random weight portion of this product at a flat unit price.
