Happy National Cheeseball Day! (Yes, there really is a holiday for everything…) We’re making our favorite recipe here.
The great thing about this recipe (besides the fact that all the ingredients are available at the cheese shop!) is how easy it is, plus it’s the perfect way to use up any small leftover ends of cheese! We used half a block of local Medium Cheddar and two little nubs of BelGioioso Sharp Provolone and Sartori Basil & Olive Oil Asiago.
Ingredients:
- 2 cups cream cheese (2 blocks)
- 2 cups shredded cheese
- 1 teaspoon Worcester sauce
Steps:
- Just mix all the ingredients together until well combined, then place on a piece of plastic wrap.
- Form it into a ball and refrigerate it for a few hours, then optionally roll it in finely chopped nuts or more cheese and serve at room temperature!
(We’ll post some more photos throughout the day as it progresses.)
Sounds delicious!!!
We’ll soon see!
